Sungyun Hong is Managing Director and the Head of NYLIM Korea Branch. Sung manages investor relations for both private and public investments and has played a critical role in building our brand as a leading provider of alternative solutions in Korea.

Sung joined New York Life in 2016 as a Director in NYLIM to manage Korea’s alternative investments investor relations, with increased responsibility in the years since. He started his career as a Research Analyst at Hana Financial Investment. Sung then held various positions at Korea Teachers Pension Fund and Hanwha Asset Management Co. Most recently, he was a Vice President at VOGO Fund Asset Management.

Sungyun earned a B.B.A. from Baruch College.
