WESTWOOD, Mass., June 1, 2006 – In an effort to further strengthen its total retirement outsourcing platform, NYLIM Retirement Plan Services, a division of New York Life Investment Management LLC (NYLIM), announced it has enhanced its website for plan sponsors.  The enhancements create a more personalized, functional and user-friendly way for plan sponsor clients to interact with all their retirement plan information. 

NYLIM Retirement Plan Services’ plan sponsor website will now be much simpler to navigate using a so-called dashboard approach that personalizes the site to fit the way each plan sponsor uses it.  Last year, NYLIM also redesigned its participant website using a similar structure.
The site enhancements also simplify data management by allowing a plan sponsor to move back and forth rapidly among all their retirement plans, when they are administered by NYLIM.  Almost half of the bundled pension plans NYLIM administers are accompanied by a defined contribution plan also housed at NYLIM.

Total retirement outsourcing (TRO) involves a company outsourcing all its retirement plans to one outside vendor, such as NYLIM Retirement Plan Services.  Increased web functionality among and between the retirement plans creates a seamless environment for plan sponsors to manage all of their retirement plan data, thus making TRO a smart financial and strategic decision.

Some of the information that can now be personalized on a sponsor’s retirement plan home page includes:

• A summary of plan assets in all retirement plans administered by NYLIM Retirement Plan Services, updated as of the most recent market close, allowing more effective outsourcing. Plan sponsors can subscribe to receive this weekly, monthly or quarterly.
• A redesigned Welcome page that may be personalized by the plan sponsor.
• A Key Performance Indicators (KPI) section that might include deferral rate averages and plan participation for both defined contribution (DC) plans and monthly benefits paid for defined benefit (DB) plans or general information such as the Dow or S & P 500 YTD values.
• Quick Links specific to places a sponsor utilizes on the site most often.
• An improved, customized reporting that allows a sponsor to receive plan-specific reports more quickly and efficiently.
