Westwood, MA and New York, NY, May 30, 2006 – NYLIM Retirement Plan Services, a division of New York Life Investment Management LLC (NYLIM), and Citigroup Institutional Consulting, a division of Citigroup (NYSE: C), have been appointed by St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV, to service the medical center’s pension plan. 

St. Mary’s Medical Center has over 2,600 participants in its $55 million pension plan.  As part of this conversion, the Center will transfer from an unbundled—or traditional—pension plan service structure, to a bundled service model.  NYLIM Retirement Plan Services will bring its award winning bundled platform, DB Complete®, to the relationship. Citigroup Institutional Consulting will provide sophisticated investment consulting strategies, augmented by manager research performed by Consulting Group.

St. Mary’s plan is taking advantage of a partnership between the two firms, which offers plan sponsors NYLIM’s bundled retirement plan services along with the investment management consulting expertise of Citigroup Institutional Consulting.

DB Complete consolidates multiple facets of pension plan administration including actuarial, plan administration, custodial services and participant investment education. 
Citigroup Institutional Consulting provides consolidated multiple components of investment consulting including asset and liability studies, investment policy statements, asset allocation, manager research and evaluation, performance monitoring and reporting, rebalancing strategies and other portfolio optimization services.
