As vice chairman and advisor to the Executive Committee of New York Life Investment Management, Mr. Anselmi supports the NYLIM leadership team in developing the Company’s long term strategic plan, evaluating prospective merger and acquisition targets, as well as providing guidance on legal and compliance matters.

Previously, Mr. Anselmi was responsible for overseeing the NYLIM Office of the General Counsel (OGC) and the services OGC provides. These services include advice and guidance with respect to mutual funds; private equity, private debt and real estate leasing and lending transactions; investment management and vendor agreements; product development activities and corporate governance.

Mr. Anselmi joined NYLIM in 2000 after having served as Managing Director and Senior Counsel at Lehman Brothers Inc., where he managed the legal group responsible for worldwide sales practices, private client services and a significant portion of the firm's fixed income activities. Prior to this, he was General Counsel and a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Investment Management Inc.

Mr. Anselmi received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, M.B.A. from Fordham University Graduate School of business, and B.S. in Economics from Fordham University.
