The Real Estate Group's primary goal is to realize a substantial yield pickup versus the agency MBS market while effectively managing credit risk and prepayment risk.
Relative value analyses for all whole loan products are conducted continuously. The Group seeks to efficiently execute transactions with leading originators and enjoy competitive pricing with them. Currently, the Group has direct relationships with these mortgage originators and has negotiated updated Seller and Servicer Agreements with them.
NYLIM's Real Estate Group also employs a significant infrastructure that executes and monitors both new and existing transactions.
