SMAs are individual investment portfolios (as opposed to “pooled assets”) offered through financial consultants who provide advisory services, and managed by professional investment advisors. SMAs have an asset-based fee structure.

What is the account size minimum?
 
Typically, the account size minimum is $100,000; however, that amount may vary depending on product and sponsor firm. Please speak with your financial consultant regarding individual account size minimum.

Yes, Separately Managed Accounts accepts accounts where clients can place restrictions on individual holdings, such as no tobacco, no alcohol, or no nuclear power.
