| Improved Shareholder Statements |
 |
As you review your quarterly investor statement you will find a change—new information that shareholders have been asking for. In the Portfolio Activity Summary that begins on page three of your statement, you will see two new categories.
| > |
Total Investments—this figure indicates the total investments you've made in your account since inception.1 |
| > |
Total Withdrawals—this figure reflects the total amount of withdrawals for each of your accounts.1 |
For any exchange you have made between two of your Fund accounts, the amount exchanged will be reflected in the totals shown for both the Investments (on the "to" account) and the Withdrawals (on the "from" account).
Dividends and capital gains you reinvest from one Fund account into another will be reflected in the Total Investments, but dividends and capital gains reinvested into the same Fund will not be reflected.
Class B to Class A share conversions will be reflected in the Total Investment amount on the "Class A account" and will also be reflected in the Total Withdrawals on the "Class B account."
If you own an account that was established prior to 1995 that has had no investments or withdrawals since that time, this section will reflect zero in the Total Investment and Total Withdrawals columns.
