Scott Thies
Mr. Thies joined New York Life Investment Management in 2001 as an internal wholesaler in the Retail Investments Division, before joining MainStay's Wealth Advisory Services Group. Previously, Mr. Thies was an Internal Wholesaler for AXA Advisors in its Retail Sales Group. Prior to that, he was a Financial Advisor with John Hancock. Mr. Thies earned a B.S. from Quinnipiac University and has 11 years of investment experience.
Elliott Miller, CIMA
Mr. Miller joined New York Life Investment Management in 2002 as a Director in the Retail Investments Division. Previously, he was employed by Prudential Financial, most recently as Senior Coordinator for the Eastern Division, and Coordinator for the Mid- Atlantic Region within the Managed Accounts Consulting Group. Mr. Miller also held positions at Philadelphia-based CMS Cos. And Rittenhouse Financial Services in Radnor, Pa. Mr. Miller earned a B.A. in History from Penn State University in 1975. He is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association and is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA).
Philip Hodson
Mr. Hodson joined MainStay Investments' Wealth Advisory Services team in the fall of 2008. Previously, he worked with Columbia Management as a Regional Sales Consultant covering bank brokerage firms in 2005, until moving into the role of Regional Sales Director for the RIA market in the Western US in 2006. From 1999-2005, Mr. Hodson was employed with Banc of America Investment Services, Inc., as a trader, options principle and advisor. Mr. Hodson graduated in 1999 from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia with a B.A. in Economics and French.
Leigh Russo
Ms. Russo joined New York Life Investment Management in 2007 as a Senior Sales Consultant for the Wealth Advisory Services Group within the Retail Mutual Fund Sales Division. Previously, she was a Junior Corporate Bond Analyst at HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. Ms. Russo graduated from Lehigh University in 2004.
