Mr. Yoon is Senior Managing Director of NYLIM’s Investment Consulting Group and Deputy CIO. In this role, he is responsible for independent monitoring and oversight of all NYLIM investment products with ultimate accountability to NYLIM’s Investment Committee, which is comprised of most senior professionals of NYLIM including the CEO. Prior to joining NYLIM, Mr. Yoon was Head of Analytics and Risk Management at Western Asset Management, based first in London and subsequently in Pasadena, California. Mr. Yoon came to Western Asset Management from Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, where he served as the Head of Risk and Performance for the Pacific and European Regions in Tokyo and London, respectively. He also worked at JPMorgan Securities in Asia as regional head of Risk Management Control for Fixed Income and Equity Derivative Trading.

Education:

Mr. Yoon is a graduate of Cornell University where he earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Operations Research.
